Director Ron Malashewski was born and raised in Kenora and has resided in Calgary, Montreal, and Winnipeg, before moving back to Kenora in 2004. He has been a member of the KDCC since 2007.   He is President of Cliff Lake Entrepreneur Advisors (formerly Cliff Lake Capital Limited), providing Corporate Consulting Services and entrepreneur coaching for start-up and early-stage companies across a diverse range of sectors, including natural resources, alternative energy, transportation and logistics, internet infrastructure, and industrial technology, among others.   From 1980 until 1992, he held Senior Engineering positions with the City of Calgary Electric System, a major Canadian municipal electric utility. In 1992, he joined Richardson Greenshields of Canada and later BMO Nesbitt Burns in Calgary.
