
Call for Nominations – Board of Directors:
The Kenora and District Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting nominations for five (5) positions on our Board of Directors.
This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in shaping the future of the Chamber and supporting a strong, thriving business community in Kenora and the surrounding area.
Nominees will be named to the board at our Annual General Meeting on March 10, 2026. Successful candidates will serve a two-year term beginning March 10, 2026.
Nomination Deadline: March 6, 2026
Board Composition
The Chamber’s Board is comprised of 12 Directors, plus four Executive Officers (President, Vice-President, 2nd Vice-President, and Treasurer), for a total of 16 members. For the 2026–2027 term, five positions are open for nomination.

Why Serve on the Board?

Requirements of a Board Member
Board Members are expected to:
- Attend regular Board meetings (approximately 10 per year)
- Participate in at least one committee
- Attend Chamber events and represent the organization when appropriate
- Contribute to strategic planning and governance discussions
- Act in the best interest of the Chamber and its membership
Nominees must be current Chamber members in good standing.
Before Beginning the Nomination Process, You Will Need:
- A completed and signed Board of Directors Application
- A brief biography (roughly 200 words)
